Ford 5-Z Service Tool List
The following chart details many of the special service tools produced for the Model A and B by Ford and used in their Branch assembly plants, and supplied by Ford to their dealers.
Many of these tools were also marked with the tool makers name or logo. For example, many 5-Z tools were made for Ford by Herbrand and Moore and carry their respective logo mark, as well as carrying the Ford script and the Ford 5-Z tool number.
These tools were in addition to the many other special service tools designed and produced by KR Wilson, authorized by Ford, and marketed directly to Ford Dealers.
Use this handy list to help identify those odd Ford script and 5-Z number tools For Model A and B found at swap meets and yard sales.
