Presented on this page is a fantastic video showing numerous Ford Model AA trucks being used in various era road building projects in the early 1930s.
This nine minute silent film is from The National Archives and was originally filmed by the Ford Motor Company.
There are many interesting scenes of parades of Model AA dump trucks in action, draglines and power shovels, and earth moving, as well as Model AA transit trucks and trailers being loaded and watered, and casting concrete highways. A few horses and mule teams are also included.
