Four-Speed Transmission Clutch Housing

Pictured above is the 1929-31 Model AA Ford truck clutch housing. This housing is for mounting the four-speed transmission to the Model A engine and flywheel housing.

The Model AA transmission case mounts to it's housing using six attaching bolts, as opposed to four bolts as used on the Model A transmission and housing.

On the Model AA truck, the pedal shaft is mounted to a boss on the side of the Model AA transmission case, and there is no pedal shaft provision on the clutch housing, whereas the pedal shaft was mounted on the clutch housing on the Model A car with three speed transmission.
