Prototype Three Window Coupes

Pictured above is an early 1930 prototype three window coupe at the Engineering Laboratory in Dearborn.

Note the visor-less three window body and chrome windshield, 1929 headlamps, 1930 hubcaps, eyebrow front fenders, 1930 running board splash shields, light colored radiator emblem, and unusual door handle.

Pictured above is a mid 1931 prototype three window coupe outside the Engineering Laboratory in Dearborn.

This vehicle is still in existence and has appeared at a couple of National Model A meets.

This prototype is more mature and bears a much closer resemblance to the production 1932 three window Deluxe Coupe pictured below owned by John McNally.
