Shown here is a Model B styled railroad track inspection car, generically referred to as a Buda car.
The photo seems to indicate a Model A sedan body and bumper, with the 1932 Ford grille shell.
This photo was taken in April 1935 on the tracks of the Missouri–Kansas–Texas Railroad, also known as the 'Katy'.
Genuine Buda railway inspection cars were produced in Harvey, Illinois. It is not certain that this particular car was actually produced by Buda. Likely not. The Buda Foundry and Mfg. Co. and Buda Engine Co. built railway maintenance and track equipment, and also built their own line of engines.
